Following the completion of his Masters program in 2024, Andrew began work at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL as a Clinical Dietitian. In this role he received the unique opportunity to be the sole Dietitian charged with providing dietary counseling to patients of the Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic. When not in clinic Andrew provided inpatient support to patients on various units such as those admitted to Intensive Care, Cardiac, Medical-Surgical, and Orthopedic floors.
After realizing his passions for outpatient treatment, Andrew transitioned to a new role as an Eating Disorder & Sport Dietitian at a local private practice. This allowed him to gain valuable experience working with clients struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and orthorexia in addition to providing athletes the knowledge and coaching they need to fuel their sport and recover optimally.
In late 2025, Lift STL advertised its need for a new Performance Coach. Having been a member of Lift for 2 years, Andrew decided to seek more information and apply. After speaking with owner, Eric Humes, Andrew was invited to join the Lift team as a Performance Coach and spearhead the Nutrition Coaching service.

Andrew's philosophy is governed by 2 words, simple & sustainable. He believes that complex and complicated approaches to the diet only end in failure & frustration. There is no one size fits all dietary pattern, just broad concepts that we can apply to ensure ideal health and fitness.
Andrew believes that our dietary pattern is not a matter will power or disicipline, but shaped by our lived experiences, self image, mental well being, and general health knowledge. These factors are why you will not be handed a generalized meal plan when working with Andrew. Instead, extensive work will be done to understand how food fits into your lifestyle and what strategies we can implement to make you successful on the field, in the gym, and in day-to-day life.
In the end, Andrew's goal is to drive health and performance in such a sustainable way that it follows you late into life, ensuring you live a life of health, strength, and independence.
